The courses developed within the Erasmus+ project "EduZone – Inclusive communication for all" (AAC ZONE), coordinated by the School Center for Inclusive Education (CSEI) Buzău, offer a complete training framework dedicated to the integration of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) in inclusive education. Structured in 12 interactive modules, the program is aimed at teachers, therapists and parents, providing open educational resources (OER), teaching scenarios, methodological guides and video tutorials.
The topics cover the foundations of CAA, the use of low and high-tech assistive technologies (ARASAAC pictograms, digital speech synthesis applications), inclusive lesson design, emotional vocabulary development, active family involvement, functional progress assessment and ethical, GDPR and accessibility aspects.
The course promotes the autonomy and active participation of students with special educational needs, transforming communication into a right accessible to all.
